MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's basketball ended its two-game road trip on Saturday, seeking its fifth straight win. The Norse jumped ahead by double-digits in the first quarter and never trailed in the game, although a late push from Robert Morris made things interesting.

- Northern Kentucky knocked down 12 threes in the win, shooting 44.4% behind the arc, but struggled on twos, shooting just 9-28 on two-point attempts. Both teams boasted a high free-throw rate, with NKU making 27 of 32 attempts while RMU went 24-29 from the line.
- NKU outrebounded its opponent for the tenth-straight game, winning the battle on the glass 35-33.

Karina Bystry put together a great all-around game, going for 24 points, six rebounds, and four assists while shooting 13-15 from the line. She also hit three threes.

Taysha Rushton knocked down five threes, scoring 19 points while grabbing two rebounds with a steal.

Mya Meredith went for 17 points on 5-11 shooting, also grabbing six rebounds and dishing out a pair of assists with a block and a steal.

Maddie Moody grabbed ten rebounds, but fouled out with six points.
GAME NOTES
- NKU is on its longest winning streak of the
Jeff Hans era, and its longest since December 2022, when the Norse won six straight. It also marked the third consecutive away win, something the Norse hadn't done since February 2024.

Karina Bystry's 13 made free throws marked the most-ever in a single game by a Horizon League freshman, topping the previous mark of 12 set by Detroit Mercy's Shareta Brown in 2012.
- Bystry now has five games with 20+ points, while all other Horizon League freshmen combined have just two.

Taysha Rushton's five made threes in the game marked the most in a game by a Norse since
Kalissa Lacy had five in a win over Cleveland State on February 13, 2025.
