DAYTON, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's basketball kept on rolling on Saturday afternoon, taking on Wright State up in Dayton. After a slow start that saw the Norse down double-digits in the second quarter, Northern Kentucky then outscored Wright State 65-28 over the final 25 minutes of the game, trouncing the Raiders by 26 for the Norse's seventh-straight win, and fourth-straight on the road. The Norse moved into sole possession of second place in the Horizon League with the victory.

- The Norse shot 47.0% from the field, 41.7% from three, and a perfect 10-10 from the line, while limiting Wright State to just 34.4% on field goals and 35.3% on threes.
- Northern Kentucky won the turnover battle, 15-10, recording 18 points off those Raider coughups.
- For the 12th-straight game, the Norse won the rebound battle, grabbing 40 boards to WSU's 36.

Taysha Rushton led NKU in scoring with 17 points on 5-11 shooting and 3-7 shooting from behind the arc. Rushton also had six assists and four rebounds on the night.

Karina Bystry put together another stellar performance, putting up 15 points on 6-11 shooting with seven rebounds and three steals.

Abby Wolterman dropped 14 points on 7-13 shooting with five rebounds.

Maddie Moody went for a double-double, scoring eleven points while grabbing 13 rebounds. She also had a pair of assists.

Mia Jordan had ten points with three assists and two rebounds. She knocked down a pair of threes, going 2-4 from behind the arc.
GAME NOTES
– NKU put five players in double figures in scoring for just the second time this season, as the Norse also did so on November 26 vs. Drake.
– The Norse are on a seven-game winning streak for the first time since the 2021-22 campaign, when NKU won ten straight.
– Northern Kentucky moves to 8-0 on the season when scoring 70 or more points.
