NKU Men's Triathlon earns second-place finish in MECTC

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The MidEast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (MECTC) has officially announced the individual and team standings for the fall 2025 season, and the NKU men's triathlon team finished 2nd overall in the conference for the fall season.  Along with 2nd overall in the team standings, 3 Norse student athletes finished within the top 7 overall individual standings.  The conference scores the team's 2 best regular season events and the conference championships which are worth double points.  The Norse were led by Sean Smyth who finished 4th overall, Max Marion 6th overall, Jude Woodruff 7th overall.  Rounding out the top 5 Norse athletes were Joey Klosterman in 11th overall, and Toby Martin in 38th.  The Norse look to capitalize on the fall success at their next race as they prepare to race at USAT's Collegiate Club National Championships (CCNC) in Guilfport, MS March 27th-28th.
