HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The MidEast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (MECTC) has officially announced the individual and team standings for the fall 2025 season, and the NKU men's triathlon team finished 2
nd overall in the conference for the fall season. Along with 2nd overall in the team standings, 3 Norse student athletes finished within the top 7 overall individual standings. The conference scores the team's 2 best regular season events and the conference championships which are worth double points. The Norse were led by
Sean Smyth who finished 4
th overall,
Max Marion 6
th overall,
Jude Woodruff 7
th overall. Rounding out the top 5 Norse athletes were
Joey Klosterman in 11
th overall, and
Toby Martin in 38th. The Norse look to capitalize on the fall success at their next race as they prepare to race at USAT's Collegiate Club National Championships (CCNC) in Guilfport, MS March 27th-28th.
