Norse finish 11th at UD Invitational

KETTERING, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's golf wrapped up the 2026 fall campaign on Monday & Tuesday, competing at the University of Dayton Invitational at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio. The Norse finished last out of the 11 competing teams, but a pair of NKU student-athletes notched top-25 finishes on the 70-par course.

Ryliann Bednar led NKU with a +14, going 74-79-71 over three rounds for a T-20 finish. Bednar totaled nine birdies overall, including five in round three, four of those coming on the front nine. Her 71 in round three was the best single-round score of any Norse at the tournament by three strokes.

Behind Bednar was Cammy Reed, whose 76-74-75 tournament saw her finish 15-over and tied for 23rd overall. She had seven birdies total, with three in each of the final two rounds.

Eva Maley (+29, T61), Andrea Baumann (+36, T68), and Conlee Lindsey (+46, T73) rounded out the group of scoring athletes for the Norse, while Lilly Baumann finished at +28 as an individual.

The Norse pick things back up this spring, starting in March in Vero Beach, Florida.
