INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League unveiled its 2026 baseball preseason poll on Thursday, with the Norse being picked by league coaches to finish in third place. 

Defending champ Wright State led the group with 24 votes, including four first-place votes. Milwaukee held second place with 18 votes, while the Norse received 12 votes.

The Horizon League will hold just five competing members for the 2026 season, as Youngstown State and Oakland round out the group.

Northern Kentucky opens up the season on Friday, taking on South Carolina in an opening day doubleheader.
