Norse STUNT records two highest point totals in program history in pair of games at Ferris State

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Northern Kentucky University Norse STUNT continued the 2026 season on Super Bowl Sunday, taking on Ferris State and Central Michigan for a pair of games. The Norse dropped both games, but recorded their two-highest point totals in program history, with 16 in a loss to Central Michigan and 13 in a loss to Ferris State.

In their 31-13 loss to Ferris State, the Norse were outscored 1-5 in the first period, but only 4-5 in the second period. The Bulldogs extended their lead in the third period with another 5-1 period win, and took the fourth period 16-7 to clinch the 31-13 win. 

Northern Kentucky lost its second game of the day, 21-16, to Central Michigan. After falling behind 2-4 in the first period, the Norse battled back to tie things up with a 5-3 second-period victory. The Norse dropped the third period 6-3, and the Chippewas clinched the victory with an 8-6 fourth period.
