STUNT ends regular season in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Northern Kentucky University Norse STUNT wrapped up the regular season on Friday & Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee, taking on Central Arkansas, Kentucky, Cal Baptist, and McNeese in an event hosted by Trevecca Nazarene. 

To open Friday, NKU took on Central Arkansas and recorded its highest-ever point total in a game, scoring 25, but fell 25-27. The Norse were tied 4-4 after the first and then took an 11-8 lead into the halftime break. After dropping the third quarter by two points, the Norse lost the fourth quarter 10-13, dropping the game in close fashion. NKU wrapped up Friday with a 22-1 loss to Kentucky. 

On Saturday, the Norse opened with a 24-0 loss to Cal Baptist, before another close loss, this time to McNeese, as they fell 19-16. Again, the Norse led after the second quarter, going up 5-4 into the halftime break, but were outscored in every other period.
