Horizon League Announces 2026-27 Women’s Basketball Schedule

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Horizon League announced its full women's basketball conference schedule on Thursday, with the Norse set to open the conference season in early December. 

NKU women's basketball tips off the Horizon League campaign in Cleveland, taking on Cleveland State on Thursday, December 3. The Norse return home to take on Detroit Mercy on December 6 for the conference home opener. Northern Kentucky comes back to Truist for two more, on New Year's Eve vs. Oakland, and on January 2 vs. Youngstown State. 

Northern Kentucky hits the road to take on NIU on January 7, before returning home for two straight at Truist Arena. The Norse will face Green Bay on January 10 and RMU on January 12, before traveling to Wright State on January 16.

NKU then heads to Purdue Fort Wayne on January 21, before returning home to face IU Indy on January 24. The Norse close out January with a pair of road games in Michigan, taking on Oakland on January 27 and Detroit Mercy on January 30.

Northern Kentucky returns home on February 3 against Milwaukee, then heads to IU Indy on February 6. The Norse return to Truist Arena for two straight, facing NIU on February 10 and Purdue Fort Wayne on February 13, before traveling to RMU on February 17.

NKU returns home on February 20 against Wright State, then closes the regular season with a pair of road games. The Norse travel to Wisconsin to take on Milwaukee on February 25 before wrapping up the regular season at Green Bay on February 27.
