Women’s Tennis opens 2026 fall campaign with double-digit wins at home

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's tennis hosted the NKU Women's Fall Invitational on Friday and Saturday, opening the 2026 fall campaign. The Norse picked up six doubles victories and six singles victories over the two-day event. NKU hosted Xavier, Eastern Kentucky, Thomas More, and Dayton, taking on all four teams on the weekend. 

Aaditi Bhat picked up a pair of singles wins, the only Norse to do so. She took down opponents from Thomas More on Friday and Dayton on Saturday. Adriana Moreno, Haley Slay, Cassia Adamowsky, and Caroline van der Reit all picked up singles victories on Friday. 

In doubles play, the Norse tried out a lot of different pairs. Darya Gneidina and Adriana Moreno picked up a win over a Dayton pair on Saturday, while five other Norse pairs earned victories over Thomas More throughout the weekend. 

The Norse continue the fall season on October 2, back at home.
