HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University women's basketball team returns to The Bank of Kentucky Center on Tuesday, Nov. 25, hosting Ohio University for the first-ever meeting between the two teams at 7 p.m.

NKU dropped to 2-2 overall after falling to Loyola (Chicago), 45-38, on Saturday afternoon.
Christine Roush led the Norse with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals, while
Shar'Rae Davis finished one rebound shy of recording a double-double in her NKU debut, finishing with 10 points, nine rebounds and three steals.
Kaitlyn Gerrety added nine points and seven rebounds and turned away three Loyola shots.
ABOUT OHIO: The Bobcats boast a perfect 3-0 mark on the year after posting a 60-57 victory over Detroit on Nov. 20. Ohio used a 21-1 run over a five-minute stretch to overcome a six-point deficit in the second half, holding off a late Titans rally for the win. Quiera Lampkins led Ohio with her second double-double of the season, scoring 19 and grabbing 10 rebounds, while Kiyanna Black added 14 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
Black leads the Bobcats by scoring 20.0 points per game, and she is averaging 6.3 rebounds as well. Lampkins leads the rebounding efforts for Ohio, pulling down 9.3 boards as she adds 18.0 points per contest as well. Yamonie Jenkins tops the team with 19 assists, while Kelly Karlis has turned away eight opponent shots this season.
Head coach Bob Boldon is in his second season with the Bobcats. Last season, Ohio recorded a 9-21 record under Boldon's direction, and he entered the 2014-15 season with career mark of 107-107. Prior to taking the position at Ohio, he spent three years leading Youngstown State, where he coached NKU transfer
Shar'Rae Davis during the 2012-13 season.
AGAINST THE MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE: NKU is 9-10 all-time against members of the Mid-American Conference. Akron evened its series with the Norse on Nov. 15 with an 82-49 victory in the final game of the Akron Classic. NKU holds a 1-0 lead against Western Michigan, and the Norse are 0-1 against both Bowling Green and Kent State. In addition to the Akron series, NKU is also even with Miami (Ohio) (6-6) and Ball State (1-1).
CHARITY STRIPE SUCCESS: NKU has knocked down 73.4 percent (69-of-94) of its attempts from the free-throw line through the first four games of the season to rank third among Atlantic Sun Conference teams. Kennesaw State tops the league at 76.2 percent (61-of-80), followed by Lipscomb's 75.3 percent (58-of-77).
The Norse boast two of the top three Atlantic Sun charity stripe performers.
Kelley Wiegman ranks second in the conference, having gone 12-for-13 from the free-throw line for a .923 percentage.
Christine Roush's 17-for-19 (.895) performance lands just behind Wiegman.
CLIMBING THE RANKS: Melody Doss and
Christine Roush are climbing NKU's career ranks. Doss currently ranks among the top 50 in career points with 759, which places her 45th on the list currently. The senior forward from Greenwood, Indiana, is also 10th in career blocked shots. She has rejected 70 and needs just two more to pass Ellen Holton (2010-13), who has 71 career blocks.
Roush has connected on 77 treys over her career, good for 16th, and she needs two more to pass Jessica Brock (2001-04), who finished her time as a Norse with has 78. The junior guard from Louisville, Kentucky, has also attempted 196 3-pointers to land 17th on NKU's list as well.
TUESDAY PROMOTIONS: It will be Grade School Night for NKU's contest against Ohio on Tuesday evening. Kids 12 and under will receive free admission to the game, and they will be invited onto the court following the game to participate in Shoot Around Tuesday. They will also have the chance to receive player autographs postgame.
