HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University baseball team rescheduled its contest at Dayton for Thursday at the Athletes in Action Stadium in Xenia, Ohio.

NKU heads to Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. game against Ohio State before returning to the Buckeye State the following day. The Norse head into Wednesday and Thursday's contests looking to snap a seven-game losing skid and improve upon their 2-11 overall record.
Dayton is 5-8 on the year after splitting a four-game series against Buffalo. The Flyers were on the winning side of a 7-5 decision in Sunday's doubleheader before the Bulls posted a 6-3 victory in the nightcap. In similar fashion, Dayton handed Buffalo a 9-7 loss in Monday's opener, and the Bulls salvaged the split with a 3-2 win.
Alex Harris is batting .277 to lead the Flyers offense, and he leads the team with four doubles. Harris has driven in four runs and scored a team-high 10 runs, while Zach Schira holds a .267 batting average to go along with two doubles, a team-leading seven RBIs and six runs scored. Robbie Doring has successfully swiped four bases in as many attempts.
Right-handed pitcher
Justin Watts will take the mound for the Norse in his second start of the season. Watts holds a 5.63 earned run average with seven strikeouts and just one walk. On the mound for the Flyers will be lefty Mason Kutroff, who is 2-0 on the season with a 3.00 ERA. He has struck out four batters and walked six over six innings of relief work.
