CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team beat Tennessee State University by a score of 5-2 Saturday. The team swept all three doubles matches and crucial victories by
Sydney Power and
Sierra Nellessen helped NKU seal the victory.

The No. 1 doubles duo of
Klara Skopac and
Danielle Donahue defeated Ani Popiashvili and Pragati Natraj 6-0.
Hailey Shanahan and
Nicole Soutar defeated Abhilasha Vishwanath and Taylor Patterson by a score of 7-5 while
Sydney Power and Sierra Nellesson picked up a 6-0 victory over the Tennessee State combo of Hemphill and Gandy.

Sophomore Power picked up the singles victory over fellow No. 2 player Natraj in a match that ended 6-4, 6-3.

Nellesen earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory in a matchup of No. 5's with Patterson.
