Kasey Uetrecht each had 18 points to lead the Norse, who shot 46.2 percent from the floor. Glick also grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists in the game as the Norse caused 18 Valpo turnovers, scoring 22 points off those chances.
About Green BayThe Phoenix claimed their 18th consecutive Horizon League regular-season championship on the back of a 16-2 League record to go with a 26-4 overall mark. Green Bay saw a nine-game winning streak snapped on the final day of the regular season, falling to Oakland on the road, 77-69.
Allie LeClaire leads Green Bay's scoring efforts with 12.6 points per game while shooting 35.3 percent from long range. Kaili Luken was named the Horizon League's Defensive Player of the Year, grabbing a team-best 69 steals on the year.
The SeriesGreen Bay was victorious in both matchups with the Norse this season, defeating NKU, 81-73, in BB&T Arena on Jan. 21 before claiming a 52-40 result at home on Feb. 27. The 73 points scored by the Norse in the first meeting were the most by a Green Bay opponent this year until Oakland's 77-point effort on March 5.
