Norse women’s hoops tabs JUCO forward Lucia Auza Molina

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's basketball added some championship pedigree on Thursday, as Lucia Auza Molina signed with the Norse.

"Lucia is a versatile guard/forward who thrives in an up-tempo system," said NKU head coach Jeff Hans. "She excels in transition, using her speed and instincts to get downhill and finish at the rim. Beyond her scoring ability, she's an active rebounder on both ends of the floor, she's a true competitor."

A starter on the 2026 NJCAA National Champion Eastern Arizona Monsters, Auza averaged 6.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while playing 19.6 minutes and starting in 25 of 34 contests. Auza shot 41.4% from the field, 24.1% from three, and 65.4% from the line. She helped guide Eastern Arizona to a 33-2 overall record and the second overall seed in the NJCAA tournament and an ACCAC regular season title, finishing a perfect 15-0 in conference play. Auza was a key player in EAC's tournament run, playing 37 minutes with six points, five assists, and four rebounds in a quarterfinal victory over Southern Idaho, and played 28 minutes in the squad's championship victory, scoring six points and grabbing five rebounds. Over two seasons at Eastern Arizona, Auza scored 457 points, grabbed 314 rebounds, dished out 83 assists, and recorded 81 steals.
