CINCINNATI – Due to rain and severe weather throughout the region, the Northern Kentucky University baseball team was forced to cancel its game at Xavier at the conclusion of the third inning on Tuesday.
The game was called with the Musketeers leading 4-2, however, the contest did not meet the required length to be considered an official game.
The game will not be rescheduled.
The Norse (18-31, 7-19 Horizon League) conclude the 2016 regular season at home this weekend. NKU hosts Milwaukee for a doubleheader at noon on Friday at Bill Aker Baseball Complex then turns around for a Senior Day twinbill against Youngstown State at noon on Sunday.
