LAST TIME OUT: NKU went on the road Monday night and defeated Morehead State by a final score of 2-1. Jessica Frey scored in the 64th and 69th minutes to help the Norse to a win. NKU fell behind early in the second half on an own goal, which allowed the Eagles to take a 1-0 lead. However, the Norse tied the game on Frey's goal in the 64th minute. A nice cross from Kayte Osterfeld made its way into the box, and Frey was able to head the ball into the back of the net to even the score. In the 69th minute, Shawna Zaken played a ball into the box that Frey one-timed to give the Norse the 2-1 advantage.

TAKING A LOOK AT THE STATS: Frey leads the Norse with three goals on the season. Macy Hamblin has also recorded a goal in 2017. In the net, Emily Lohmann has made eight saves for a .800 save percentage.

NKU has five players who have played every minute of action so far this year. Frey, Lohmann, Rachel Conaway, Hannah Fischer and Taylor Spaulding have all recorded 180 minutes of time on the pitch.

The Norse have won two-straight matches in which they initially fell behind, and Frey has scored the game-winning goal in both of those contests.

SCOUTING INDIANA STATE: The Sycamores have played two matches this season and sport a 1-0-1 record. Indiana State defeated UIC 2-0 and earned a 1-1 draw with Eastern Illinois. During the preseason, the Sycamores defeated Eastern Kentucky, 2-1. NKU played Eastern Kentucky in both teams' first regular season match, and the Norse emerged with a 2-1 victory.

Hanna Sullivan has played 200 minutes in the net this season for Indiana State, and she has made 10 saves with a .909 save percentage.
