LAST TIME OUT
The Norse fell to Louisiana Monroe in a doubleheader on Friday and a single game on Saturday. Sunday's game was cancelled due to rainy weather. In the first game of the series, ULM defeated NKU by a score of 13-10.
Jake Richmond went 2-for-5 in the game with a homer, a double, two runs scored and three RBI.
Will Haueter was 3-for-4 at the plate with two home runs, three RBI and two runs.
ULM won the second game by a score of 9-5.
Mike Moffatt went 2-for-4 at the plate with a RBI. Haueter had a hit and RBI in the game, and
TJ Marik hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning for the Norse.
In the final game of the series,
Griffin Doersching hit his first collegiate home run, which was a three-run shot to left center in the fourth inning. Later in the game, Haueter hit his third home run of the series in the ninth inning.
SCOUTING CINCINNATI
UC enters the contest at 2-4. The Bearcats won their first two games of the year, but have since lost four in a row. The team most recently fell to Sam Houston State by scores of 5-3, 3-2, and 10-6. Manny Rodriguez is the top hitter for UC so far this season. He is batting .409 with nine hits, five RBI, four runs scored, two homers, two doubles and a triple.
On the mound, 12 different players have pitched this season for the Bearcats. David Orndorff, J.T. Perez, Nathan Kroger, and Cam Alldred have all made at least one start for UC this season.

th season at the helm of the Norse baseball program. He has a 519-462-1 record at NKU and a 663-554-1 overall record.
TAKING A LOOK AT THE STATS
Haueter leads NKU with a .458 batting average. He has 11 hits, nine RBI, four runs, four home runs, and two doubles. Haueter also has a 1.042 slugging percentage on the season, and he is on a six-game hitting streak.
Jake Richmond is batting .368 on the year with seven hits, five runs, four RBI, three doubles and two home runs.
The Norse have had 13 different players appear on the mound this season.
