CLEVELAND, Ohio – Northern Kentucky women's tennis dropped a 6-1 decision to Cleveland State on Sunday, moving to 6-9 overall and 3-4 in Horizon League play. The Vikings advance to 10-11 (6-1 HL).
Match Notables
- Cleveland State took the lead early on with doubles wins on courts 2 and 3.
- The Vikings then recorded wins in No. 3, 5 and 6 singles to seal the overall victory.
- In No. 6 singles, Katja Dijanezevic dropped a tight first set in tiebreak to Anastasia Perin, 7-6(3), before falling 6-3.
- Maria Koo secured NKU's lone point with a three-set win over Gaby Schoenberg in No. 2 singles. She dropped the first set, 6-3, before recording 6-2 and 6-3 wins in the second and third.
- Margita Sunjic and Taylor Culbertson also took a set off their respective opponents. Sunjic dropped the first and third sets to Isabella Spindler in No. 1 singles, but recorded a 6-2 win in the second to push the third.

NKU is back home for the final weekend of the regular season, hosting Detroit Mercy at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21.
