The series will begin on Friday at 3 p.m. All of the contests will feature live stats, and Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN3.

NKU fell to Xavier in a back-and-forth contest on Tuesday. With the game tied 1-1,
Griffin Doersching hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the third to put the Norse ahead. Xavier responded with three runs in the top of the fourth to take a 4-3 lead. NKU regained the lead in the bottom half of the inning.
Andrew Bacon hit a sacrifice fly to score
Nolan Rattai, and
Shane Paradis also scored in the frame on a wild pitch to give NKU a 5-4 lead. However, Xavier crossed the plate three times in the top of the fifth to get the 7-5 victory.
SCOUTING OAKLAND
The Golden Grizzlies are 11-25 on the year and 8-9 in Horizon League play. Oakland most recently fell to Central Michigan by a score of 16-3 on Wednesday evening in a game played at Comerica Park. Among qualified hitters, Mario Camilletti leads the Golden Grizzlies at the plate. He is batting .310 with 44 hits, 23 runs scored and 15 RBIs. As a team, Oakland has an ERA of 7.78. Nick Parr and Jake Lee have made 10 and nine starts, respectively. Parr has an ERA of 5.58, and Lee's ERA is 6.52.
BIG WIN IN MARCH
The Norse defeated No. 6 Kentucky earlier this season on March 7 by a final score of 8-6. It was NKU's second win over a ranked program since its move to Division I. The Norse also defeated UK on March 29, 2016. The Wildcats were ranked No. 12 in that matchup.
TAKING A LOOK AT THE STATS
Will Haueter leads the team in batting average (.367), on-base percentage (.471) and slugging percentage (.655), and doubles (14). Haueter also ranks second in all of those categories in the Horizon League.
Andrew Bacon is hitting .305 on the year in his first collegiate season. He has 29 hits, 23 runs scored, 15 RBIs, four doubles and four home runs.
Chad Roberts leads the team in RBIs at 35, and he is tied for the team lead in home runs with nine.
