LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The Northern Kentucky University men's and women's track and field teams competed in what was their final tune-up before the Horizon League Outdoor Championship at the Lenny Lyles-Clark Wood Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville on Saturday.
 
Women's results

• Jennah Flairty was the top-Norse in the 800m taking 15^th in a time of 2:18.63. Alayna Garver and Andrea Marroquin followed with Garver clocking in at 2:35.52 (38^th) and Marroquin at 2:53.53 (42^nd).
• Kimmy Wolfe and Elyse Black placed 29^th and 30^th respectively in the 1,500m with Wolfe posting a time of 4:55.88 and Black clocking in at 4:55.97.
• In the 5,000m Catherine Finke took 22^nd crossing the finish line at 19:58.71.

Men's results

• Logan Currington took 32^nd in the 400m in a time of 53.20. Robbie Record followed in 33^rd at 53.21.
• In the 5,000m run, Zach Birsdall clocked in at 16:36.92 (23^rd).
• In field events, Kameron Crim posted a top-10 finish in the discus taking sixth with a throw of 44.78m (146'10.99").

Up next for the Norse

• Northern Kentucky will compete at the Horizon League Championships set for May 4-6 at Oakland University.
