Meredith Goff earns #HLTF Sportsmanship Award

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse track & field standout Meredith Goff earned the Horizon League Sportsmanship Award, the league announced on Friday. 

"Meredith has had such an incredible career here at NKU and has had an immeasurable impact on our team, not only as a very talented athlete but as a dedicated leader and committed friend to everyone on the team," said Norse head coach Steve Kruse. "This is a great honor for Meredith and the first time that an NKU track & fiedl student-athlete has earned this Horizon League award."

A team captain of the 2026 squad, Goff is described by Coach Kruse as the program's cheerleader for every event on the track. This season, she finished third in both the women's 60m & 200m at the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Championships. In 2024, Goff won the 200m run at the Horizon League Indoor Championships and was named an All-Academic Honorable Mention as well.
