RICHMOND, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse track & field competed at the EKU opener on Friday, sending a limited group of student-athletes to compete in the squad's first meet of the 2026 outdoor season. Leading the way for the Norse was distance runner
Maggie Foust, who claimed NKU's lone victory of the day, winning the 3000m run.
NOTABLES (MEN)

Jacob Line finished in third in the 1500m run, running a 3:55.55.
Jacob Messer finished fifth in 3:57.89 while
Nathan Ruth finished in sixth in 3:58.74.

Gregory Beard ran a 1:57.48 in the 800m run, finishing third overall.

Osayi Ogbebor ran a 16.05 in the 110m hurdles, finishing fourth.
Josh Brockman followed him in sixth, running a 16.26.
- In the 3000m run,
Nathan Ruth finished in fifth, running an 8:54.06, while
Jacob Messer finished in 9:01.19 in seventh.
NOTABLES (WOMEN)

Maggie Foust won the 3000m run, finishing in 10:14.36.
Brittany Arnold followed her up with a third-place finish, running a 10:22.92 at the race.

Olivia Wingo and
Ava Ranly tied for third in the high jump, with both clearing 1.50m on their second attempt.

Grace Biddle ran a 4:52.05 in the 1500m run, finishing fifth.
Macie Radcliffe finished in 7th, running a 4:56.52.
- Biddle also finished fifth in the 800m run, where she ran a 2:20.88. Radcliffe also finished 7th in that race, running a 2:25.17.
