LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse track & field competed at the Jim Vargo Invitational on Saturday, hosted by Bellarmine University. The Norse claimed five individual victories and plenty of top performances at the meet.
NOTABLES (MEN)

Gregory Beard won the 800m run, recording a time of 1:55.76.

Nathan Ruth won the 3000m steeplechase by over 30 seconds, running a 9:22.31.
- NKU's 4x100 meter relay team of
Bash Hedger,
Aaron Silva,
Elijah Harrison, and
Jackson King finished in second place, running a 43.70 in the race.

Jacob Messer finished in fourth place in the 1500m run, running a 3:57.24 in a field of 40 runners.

Charlie Casey finished in second in the 400m hurdles in 58.71, followed by
Branton Koroly (3rd, 59.07) and
Logan Miller (4th, 59.79).

Osayi Ogbebor finished in third in the 110-meter hurdles, running a 15.30. Norse runners
Brenden Athan (6th, 15.59) and
Charlie Casey (15.67, 7th).
- Ogbebor also finished secodn in the high jump, passing 1.87 on his second attempt.
Micah Ward finished third in the event, crossing 1.87 on his third attempt.
- Ward finished in second in the triple jump, leaping 13.42m on his fifth attempt. Zain Lowry finished behind him in third, with a best mark of 13.34m on his fifth attempt.

Brayden Holland finished fifth in the 400m run, clocking a 50.14.
NOTABLES (WOMEN)

Cameron Bitterman won the 100m dash, running a 11.98.
Meredith Goff finished close behind at 12.03 in second. Bitterman & Goff also finished one and two, respectively, in the 200m run, as Bitterman ran a 24.10 while Goff clocked a 24.27.

Grace Biddle won the 800m run, finishing in 2:17.33.

Sierra Kendall dominated the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.98, finishing over five seconds above second place
Katlyn Pham, who finished in 1:06.25.

Lacey Klare ran a 14.69 in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing second overall.
Katlyn Pham followed her up in fifth with a time of 16.43.

Olivia Kennedy ran a 57.39 in the 400m, finishing second overall.

Madison Neary finished in second in the high jump, clearing 1.55m on her second attempt.
Ava Ranly followed her up with a fourth-place finish, crossing 1.45m on her first attempt.

Olivia Wingo notched a third-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 3.67m on her first attempt.

Maggie Foust finished in fourth in the 1500m run, clocking a 4:44.06.

Kierra Morris finished in fourth in the long jump, recording a best leap of 5.32 meters on her first attempt.
Kylie Dilley and
Rylee Edwards both recorded a best jump of 4.91m, finishing in seventh & eighth, respectively.

Alexandra Newman finished fifth in the shot up, recording a best throw of 11.15m on her third attempt.
