HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University baseball team will host Milwaukee this weekend for a Horizon League series. The teams will play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 12 p.m. and a single game on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. There will be no Saturday contest.
LAST TIME OUT
NKU went 1-2 against Wright State this past weekend. The Norse won the first game of the series by a final score of 12-11.
Cameron Ross got the start on the mound, and he earned the win.
Joe Martin came out of the bullpen in the ninth inning to pick up the save.
Jake Richmond went 2-for-4 in the game with two home runs, three runs scored and five RBIs.

SCOUTING MILWAUKEE
The Panthers enter the contest at 8-16 overall and 4-5 in the Horizon League. As a team, Milwaukee is hitting .267 on the season. Mike Ferri leads the team with a .333 average. He has started 19 games, recording 25 hits, 10 runs scored and six RBI.
On the mound, the Panthers have a team ERA of 5.53. Three different players have made at least five starts on the mound. Austin Schulfer has started seven contests, and he has a 4.12 ERA. Patrick Tomfohrde has made seven appearances out of the bullpen, and he leads the team with a 3.31 ERA.

Will Haueter leads the team with a .360 batting average. He has 31 hits, 18 RBIs, 14 runs scored, seven doubles, six homers and a triple this season. Haueter ranks second in the Horizon League in batting average and first in slugging percentage at .674.
Jake Richmond leads the Horizon League in home runs (7) and home runs per game (.32). As a team, the Norse are first in the Horizon League and 29
th in the nation in home runs per game. On the mound,
