LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Northern Kentucky women's tennis dropped to 1-2 on the season after falling to Ball State, 4-3. The Norse faced the Cardinals in their third match in two days.
Match Notables
- The two teams split victories in the singles lineup, but it was the doubles point that gave Ball State the edge over the Norse with wins in No. 2 and 3 doubles.
- Margita Sunjic posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Sarah Swiderski at the top singles flight, moving to 2-1 in singles play this season.
- Taylor Culbertson rallied for a three-set win over Rebecca Herrington in the No. 3 singles match, dropping the first set 6-2 before posting 6-3, 6-4 wins to take the match.
- Elizabeth Rozin picked up her first career win of the spring season, downing Victoria Sec in No. 5 singles, 6-3, 7-6, 1-0.
