HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky women's basketball makes the short trip up I-75 to take on Wright State, which is tied for the lead in the Horizon League standings. Tip-off against the Raiders is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Emmy Souder led the Norse with 10 points, taking advantage of her trips to the charity stripe with a 5-for-6 effort from the free throw line.
Kailey Coffey added seven points and seven rebounds.
SCOUTING WRIGHT STATE: Following its most recent loss at Green Bay, the Raiders are just one game ahead of the Phoenix atop the league standings at 11-2. Wright State is just one win away from its 20th of the season, and the Raiders have defended their home court well with an 8-1 mark in the Nutter Center. Mackenzie Taylor and Michal Miller have been leading the team in league play with 12.5 and 12.3 points per game, respectively, while Symone Simmons is leading the Horizon League in rebounding with 9.9 boards per outing.
As a team, Wright State is one of the top rebounding teams in the nation, ranking eighth with 44.5 rpg. The Raiders are also among the nation's best in turnovers per game, committing just 12.6 miscues a contest to rank 14th nationally. In terms of scoring, the Raiders have the second-best scoring offense in the league at 69.0 points per game and allow opponents to post 61.2 ppg. The Raiders rank in the middle of the pack in defensive statistics with 3.8 blocks per game for fourth and 7.7 steals per game, good for fifth.
NKU holds a 12-9 advantage in the all-time series against the Raiders, but Wright State has come away with the win in each of the eight meetings since NKU's transition to Division I. The Norse held pace with Wright State for the majority of the last matchup, ultimately falling by six in BB&T Arena, 61-55.
NORSE IN THE RANKINGS: Since starting Horizon League play, the Norse have had several individuals climb into the top-10 of the standings in several statistical categories.
Kailey Coffey currently ranks second in the league in rebounding at 9.5 boards per game.
Ally Niece has upped her free throw performance since entering league action and ranks third among league opponents from the free throw line at 82.9 percent. The rookie point guard has been dishing out the ball well with 21 assists in the past four games, moving her to eighth in the league with 3.3 assists per game. Taylor Clos sinking 2.2 triples a contest for fourth in the league while
Molly Glick's 1.8 3-pointers per game put her at seventh.
