CINCINNATI, Ohio – Northern Kentucky women's tennis fell to cross-river foe Xavier in a tune-up prior to the Horizon League slate, 6-1. With the setback, NKU drops to 4-5 on the season while the Musketeers improve to 10-2.

- Xavier claimed the opening point with wins in No. 2 and 3 doubles.
- The Musketeers clinched the match with straight-set victories in No. 1, 3 and 6 singles.
- Elizabeth Rozin was the next to finish, falling in a three-setter to Rachael Reichenbach in the No. 4 spot. Reichenbach's 6-2 and 6-3 set victories bookended Rozin's 6-3 second set.

The Norse open up Horizon League play at home, hosting nearby rival Wright State on Saturday, March 23. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m ET, with the men's team hosting the Raiders at 11 a.m.
