DAYTON, Ohio- The Northern Kentucky University baseball team fell on the road to Wright State 5-0 on Friday night. Northern Kentucky drops to 13-35 overall and 11-14 in Horizon League play while Wright State moved to 35-15 and 17-8 in league play.
  
At the plate

• Jake Murray accounted for one of NKU's two hits on the night going 1-3 at the plate.
• Griffin Kain collected the other Northern Kentucky hit also batting 1-3 on the night.

On the mound

• Sam Williams took the loss for the Norse pitching six innings with one run, one walk and six hits while striking out six Raiders.
• Joe Martin put in two innings of work collecting one strikeout, with five hits and giving up four runs.
• Bear Bellomy got the win for Wright State giving up two hits with eight strikeouts.

Key moments

• Wright State got on the board in the bottom of the sixth inning when Tyler Black doubled to left-center scoring Zach Weatherford form first base with two outs.
• The Raiders scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth, Peyton Burdick led the charge hitting a two run homer.
