HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky.- The Northern Kentucky women's soccer team announced the addition of transfer goalkeeper Mimi Stines (University of Dayton) for the upcoming 2019 season.

Bob Sheehan said. "Mimi brings valuable experiences with her and has achieved at a high level as a goalkeeper."
Prior to her time a Dayton, the redshirt freshman competed at the high school level for Summit Country Day School where where she was named an All-American in 2017. Stines was a two-time All-Ohio selection, taking first-team honors in 2017 and second-team honors in 2016. Additionally, the Loveland, Ohio, native was a two-time First Team All-Cincinnati and Enquirer All-Star (2016, 2017), a two-time first team all-conference honoree (2016, 2017) and a three-time All-Southwest Ohio Academic Team (2015, 2016, 2017) selection.
At the club level, Stines played for Cincinnati United Premier. The goalkeeper was a part of three Ohio South State Cup Championship teams. In 2017, she earned U-17 US Youth Soccer Best XI, was a Golden Gloves Award winner in addition to winning the U-17 National Championship and being named 2017 Top Drawer Soccer US Youth Nationals: Girls Best XI.
Northern Kentucky is coming off at 10-6-1 overall 2018 campaign. In Horizon League play, the Norse finished 6-2-1 and qualified for their fourth-straight Horizon League Women's Soccer Championship tournament.
