MUNCIE, Ind. – Northern Kentucky women's tennis fell to Ball State, 6-1 on Friday evening. With NKU's setback, NKU drops to 3-3 on the season while the Cardinals improve to 7-2.

- Ananya Kothakota and Margita Sunjic took down Ball State's Amy Kaplan and Victoria Sec in No. 2 doubles, 6-0, after the Norse suffered a loss in the No. 3 doubles. The Cardinals ended up taking the doubles point with the decision on court number 1 with a 6-4 decision.
- Ball State used straight-set wins in No. 6, 4, and 5 singles to clinch the match, followed by two more straight-set wins on courts three and two.
- Margita Sunjic rounded up the singles matches, posting the only point for the Norse, winning in three sets against Ball State's Jessica Braun, 3-6, 6-1, 1-0.
The Norse will take a trip to the Sunshine State, Monday-Friday, March 9-11. There, the Norse will square off with Quinnipiac, Fairfield and Belmont in Orlando.
