@NKUNorseTennis women face Thomas More

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team will play concurrently with the men's squad in a match against Thomas More on Saturday, February 8. First serve is set for 5 p.m. at Five Seasons Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

NKU is 2-2 to start the spring campaign with its last time out resulting in a 6-1 loss to Xavier. Margita Sunjic claimed the lone point for the Norse in a three-set battle in the No. 1 spot. Sunjic earned the Horizon League Singles Player of the week, for the fourth time in her career, following her performance against one of Xavier's best, Anna Roggenburk. Sunjic is the second Norse to earn a weekly distinction this season.

The Norse will be looking to repeat a 7-0 rout over the Saints, which occurred on their last and only meetup on September 16, 2015. Thomas More enters the match with a 2-0 record after defeating Miami-Middletown and Shawnee State by large margins, 6-1 and 7-0, respectively.
