HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Horizon League announced on Wednesday that the Northern Kentucky University women's basketball games at UIC on Jan. 22 and 23 have been canceled. This announcement follows NKU's pausing of team activities per Horizon League protocols due to COVID-related matters within the team's Tier I personnel, which includes student-athletes, coaches and essential support staff.

Northern Kentucky Athletics will continue to maintain its commitment to following national, state, local, University, NCAA and Horizon League protocol pertaining to COVID-19.
