CINCINNATI – The Northern Kentucky women's tennis team continued its fall season this weekend at the UC/Xavier Fall Invitational which featured Cincinnati, Xavier, Bellarmine, Indiana, Miami (OH), Ohio State, and Purdue. 

Match Notables
 
Friday
• NKU went 6-4 in singles action during day one of the UC/Xavier Fall Invitational. 
• Daniela Rosenberger and Laura Sola Grau each earned two singles victories on the day. Rosenberger defeated Reddy of UC 3-6, 7-5, 10-2 and Long of Miami (OH) 6-1, 6-1. Grau went on to taken down Moyer of Xavier 6-4, 6-4 and Kozerski of Bellarmine 6-2, 6-1. 
• Slyvia Gray, Maria Koo, and Ananya Kothakota each picked up singles victories as well during day one. 
• In doubles action Kothakota/Rosenberger vanquished Hirsch/Reddy of Cincinnati 6-3. 
 
Saturday
• Day two featured the duo of Grau/Koo defeating Bruno/Niehasu of UC 6-4 in doubles action. 
• In singles play, NKU finished the second day of competition 3-2 overall.
• Gray defeated Bruno of UC 7-6(5), 7-6(3), while Grau took down her Bearcat opponent Hirsch 6-1, 6-2. 
• Rosenberger earned yet another win during the weekend, conquering Kubas of Indiana 6-2. 3-6, 11-9. 
 
 
Next Up
Northern Kentucky will next compete at the Ohio Valley Regional hosted by Middle Tennessee State. The tournament will begin Thursday, Oct. 21 and run through Sunday, Oct. 24.
