• NKU is now 7-3-2 this season and is currently on a six-game win streak after defeating Robert Morris on the road in Horizon League play last week.
• NKU is unbeaten in its last eight matches with a 6-0-2 record. Opponents have scored just four goals in those games as the Norse have posted five total shutouts.
• NKU currently sits in a tie for first in the Horizon League with Milwaukee as both programs are currently 5-0-0, having totaled 15 points in conference play. These two programs will face each other in Milwaukee on Sunday, Oct. 17.
• NKU this week will first host Purdue Fort Wayne on Thursday, Oct. 7 from NKU Soccer Stadium at 7 p.m. The Norse will then travel to take on Youngstown State on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m.
• All-time Northern Kentucky is 4-2 overall against PFW, defeating the Mastodons most recently 1-0 on March 24, 2021. NKU has been dominate against Youngstown State throughout history, leading the series 8-0 overall.
• NKU's nonconference schedule was an intense grind. All but two of its nonconference opponents have a .500 record or better and are a combined 40-27-13 (.597) through Oct. 6.
• NKU was picked to finish second in the Horizon League Preseason Poll.
• The Norse won the 2020 Horizon League regular season at 7-0-1 and went 8-1-2 overall.
• NKU reached the #HLWSOC Tournament championship match, tying Milwaukee 0-0 through 110 minutes of action before succumbing in penalty kicks.

Sofia Wilmes found the back of the net once again in the contest against RMU, boosting her goal total to four this season. She has scored in her last two matches as well.

Lindsey Meyer scored her third goal of the year versus Robert Morris, increasing her season total out to three.

Emma McSwigan scored her first collegiate goal against Robert Morris, in what proved to be the game winner as the Norse picked up the road win at 3-2.

Lydia Self has been named the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week twice this season. Self earned her first honor Sept. 13 and the second 20.

Mimi Stines the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 27 after recording back-to-back shutouts against IUPUI and Cleveland State.

Madelyn Koewler leads the team in total assists this year with three. Koewler recorded all her assists in back-to-back matches as well.
• Stines is the reigning #HLWSOC Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Year after finishing third nationally in goals against (.264) and save percent (.929), plus 14th in shutouts (7).
• Stines earned recognition as a United Soccer Coaches All-Region honoree and, the standout on both the field and in the classroom, also collected United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America and Horizon League All-Academic accolades.
