Highland Heights, Ky. – Northern Kentucky women's tennis return to the Five Seasons Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, on Saturday Feb. 20, to compete against the Saint Francis Red Flashes. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
The Norse picked up their first win (4-1) of the season versus Western Kentucky on Feb. 6, after their original first match against Thomas More was postponed due to TMU's COVID-19 protocols.
Maria Koo clinched the win in her 6-2, 7-6 two-set No. 2 singles match. The No. 5 and No. 6 matches were abandoned due to the team's dominant takeover in singles. The following Friday, Feb. 12, the Norse fell to Xavier 5-2.
Saint Francis is 0-2 so far this season. Before they take on the Norse on Saturday, the Red Flashes will compete against Thomas More on Friday, Feb. 19.
The last meetup between the two teams was on Feb. 9, 2019. The Norse outscored the Red Flashes, 5-2.
