CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Norse are on a two-game winning streak after taking down the Flyers, 4-1, in Friday night's matchup. Northern Kentucky women's tennis team moved to 3-1 on the season after taking down the University of Dayton 4-1 while the Flyers drop to 3-6 for the season.
  
Match Notables   

• NKU commanded in singles play but lacked to pick up a win in the doubles matchup. No. 2 Laura Sola Grau and Ananya Kothakota lost to Erica Wojcikiewicz and Natalie Stanton (6-3), No.1 Maria Koo and Elizabeth Rozin fell short to Paige Kompa and Elizabeth Hamilton (6-4), leaving the No. 3 matchup to be abandoned between Hannah Watton and Sylvia Gray and Sarah Demarco and Julia Bays (5-5). 
• After the doubles match, the Norse found their groove and picked up four-straight single wins. Rozin started off the streak by taking down her opponent in two sets (6-3, 6-1). 
• No. 5 Sola Grau followed Rozin's footsteps dominating Stanton in a pair of sets (6-1, 6-2). 
• Following Grau, Kothakota conquered her opponent in a close match (7-5, 6-4). Koo secured the Norse win by taking down the Flyer in two matches (7-6, 6-3).  
• No.1 Margita Sunjic and No. 6 Watton both were competing in close matches, (6-7, 6-2 4-0) and (7-6, 6-5), before they were abandoned.
