Fast Break Points
• Northern Kentucky is now the only undefeated team in the Horizon League after sweeping Milwaukee last weekend by scores of 67-50 and 68-61, respectively.
• The pair of big wins over the Panthers warranted four votes in the Mid-Major Top-25 poll.
• At 6-0, NKU is off to its best start in conference play since the 2008-09 season, where the Norse started of 8-0.
• The Norse are defeating their conference opponents by an average margin of 19.4 points through six games. The contest at Milwaukee on Jan. 30 is the only time in conference play a team has finished within single-digits of NKU.
• Through 11 games this season, NKU is outrebounding its opponents by 8.9 boards per game (41.4-32.5 rpg). That margin ranks 24th-best in the nation.
• NKU is 2-11 all-time against Green Bay. In its last matchup with the Phoenix, the Norse lost in the Horizon League semifinals, 50-49, on March 9, 2020.
• NKU is coming off its first 20-win season during the DI era. The Norse went 6-5 in the nonconference before posting a 12-6 mark in League play and going 2-1 in the Horizon League Championship.
• The Norse were picked to finish fourth in the Horizon League Preseason Coaches Poll.
• Junior guard Lindsey Duvall has been active and impactful early in her Norse tenure. She registered her first three double-doubles in consecutive fashion against Bowling Green (10 points, career-high 14 rebounds), No. 19 Ohio State (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Robert Morris (21 points, 10 rebounds). She is leading the Norse in points (15.2) and is second in rebounds (7.5) per game.
• Sophomore guard Carissa Garcia has improved on her freshman campaign, where she scored 7.3 points per game. She is up to 9.5 points a contest and is riding back-to-back games of 20 or more points. Garcia was named this week's Horizon League Player of the Week on Feb. 1.
• Sophomore guard Ivy Turner was in the starting rotation every game last year. Turner contributed 8.3 ppg for NKU and was second on the team with 66 dimes. She is scoring at an even better 10.5 ppg clip this year.
Grayson Rose is averaging 12.5 points in the last four contests. On the year, she's scoring at a 8.4 per game rate and brings in 5.3 rebounds a contest. Rose currently leads the Horizon League with 2.3 blocks per league contest and just moved into fourth all-time for the Norse in blocked shots.
• Senior forward Kailey Coffey has played in 103 games with 102 starts (good for 12th all-time) during a Norse career in which she has moved into ninth all-time at NKU with 754 rebounds. She currently leads the Norse in rebounds with 7.7 boards a contest.
• Five newcomers joined the squad this season, including Louisville transfer junior guard Duvall as well as freshmen guard Kennedy Igo, center Emma Palmer, center Christyan Reid and  guard/wing Ellie Taylor.

Last Time Out
Milwaukee is undefeated in the Horizon League no more after NKU pulled off the weekend sweep in Wisconsin on Jan. 29-30. In game one, A lightning scoring-trio of Garcia, Duvall and Turner gave the Norse 20, 18 and 17 points, respectively, en route to a 67-50 win. NKU held the Panthers to just 30.2 percent (19-of-63) shooting. A day later, NKU held off a 15-0 run by the Panthers late in the game to win, 68-61. Garcia had a career-high 22 points and five made-threes in the contest. NKU has defeated Milwaukee by an average of 16.0 points in its last five matchups with the Panthers.

Green Bay is 9-6 on the year and 8-4 in Horizon League play after splitting a pair with IUPUI last weekend. Caitlyn Hibner leads the Phoenix with 14.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. She has scored in double figures in the last four games, making 57 percent (30-of-53) of her shots in that span. Sydney Levy is the other scorer in double figures with 10.4 points per game and Meghan Pingel is one to watch for, as she is third in the Horizon League in assists (4.6 a game) and leads the league in assist-turnover ratio.
