@NKUTennis women compete in first competition of the season against Western Kentucky

Highland Heights, Ky. – Northern Kentucky's women's tennis plays its first matchup of the season after its first game against Thomas More was postponed due to COVID-19. On Saturday, NKU hosts Western Kentucky at 6:30 p.m. in Cincinnati at the Five Seasons Sports Club.

The women return all six of their athletes from the previous season, while adding two freshmen: Sylvia Gray and Laura Sola Grau. Returners include sophomore Ananya Kothakota, juniors Autumn Clark and Elizabeth Rozin, seniors Maria Koo and Hannah Watton, and redshirt-senior Margita Sunjic

Before last season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Norse went 6-3 in non-conference play. NKU hosted its first home match against Western Kentucky and won 6-1 on Jan. 25 2020.
