HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – After winning the opening round of the Horizon League Women's Basketball Tournament last Thursday, Northern Kentucky has its sights set on the No. 1-seed Wright State Raiders in the quarterfinals. NKU and WSU will square off Tuesday at 2 p.m., in Dayton, Ohio.

• Junior guard Duvall, an All-Horizon League Second Team performer this year, has been impactful for the Norse, leading the team in points (16.8) and rebounds (7.8) per game.
• She now has six double-doubles on the year after going off for a 29-point, 14-rebound double-double versus Robert Morris in the opening round of the #HLWBB tournament.
• After a freshman campaign that saw sophomore guard Turner start every game a season ago, she's made an even larger difference this year, scoring 11.0 points, bringing down 3.8 rebounds and dishing 2.8 assists a game as an all-league third team honoree.
• Senior forward Coffey has played in 110 games with 109 starts (eighth all-time at NKU) during a Norse career in which she has moved into seventh all-time with 803 rebounds.
• In the last three games, Coffey has averaged 17.0 ppg on 70 percent (19-of-27) shooting.
• Coffey has also earned her third-straight Horizon League All-Academic Team honor thanks to her 4.0 GPA as a double-major in Chemistry and Biochemistry Pre-Vet.

Grayson Rose has been impactful in the second half of the season, especially on the boards. On the year, she's scoring at a 7.9 points per game rate and brings in 5.7 rebounds a contest. Rose is currently second in the Horizon League with 1.5 blocks per league contest, which is a key component that led to her Horizon League All-Defensive Team selection this year, and is fourth all-time for the Norse in blocked shots.
• Sophomore guard
Carissa Garcia has improved on her freshman campaign, where she scored 7.3 points per game. She is up to 8.7 points a contest and had back-to-back games of 20 or more points at Milwaukee on Jan. 29-30. Garcia was named Horizon League Player of the Week on Feb. 1.
• Five newcomers joined the squad this season, including Louisville transfer junior guard Duvall as well as freshmen guard

Last Time Out
Northern Kentucky won its opening round game of the Horizon League Tournament on Thursday, defeating Robert Morris, 68-54, behind a 29-point, 14-rebound double-double by Duvall. Coffey and Turner also turned in 10-point performances for the Norse. NKU rode the wave of a 21-8 second quarter into a 17-12 third period and commanding control of the game.
Scouting No. 1 Wright State
Wright State earned the top seed in the Horizon League Tournament by virtue of the league's seeding formula after tying atop the regular-season standings with Milwaukee as both teams were 15-5. All-Horizon League First Team member Angel Baker leads the Raiders at 17.1 ppg. Tyler Frierson collected a spot on the the all-league third and all-defensive teams. She averages 8.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. WSU averages 63.2 ppg and surrenders just 55.7, while making it difficult on opponents with a stout +12.5 rebound margin.
Series Stuff
Including a pair of games just a few weeks back, the all-time series stands at 14-12 in favor of Wright State. NKU dominated the series during the Division II era, winning 12 of the 13 meetings, but WSU has claimed all 13 contests in the DI era.
