UNION, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's golf team sits in fourth place following the first round of NKU's home tournament, The Julie. Lillian Young nabbed a career-low, shooting two-under, and has the solo lead.

• NKU posted a team score of 318, marking the lowest round recorded by the Norse this year.
• UIC only sits five shots ahead of NKU in third place.

 
Individual Highlights
 

• Young ignited on the back nine, posting a three-under 33 en route to her 70. She recorded four birdies and two bogeys on the day.
• Delaney Welsh was low behind Young, bringing in a 77 for the team score. She went 40-37, with two birdies on the back nine.
