KETTERING, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's golf headed up to NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio, for the University of Dayton Invitational, held on Monday and Tuesday. The Norse saw a pair of top finishers,
Kenna Jenkinson and
Eva Maley, as the Norse finished tied for ninth among ten competing teams.
Jenkinson scored 74-79-74 on the 71-par course, totaling seven birdies and an eagle in round three. Overall, she finished +14 at the tournament, good for a T-15 finish.
Maley displayed consistency throughout her three rounds, going 76-75-76. She totaled six birdies, with two in each round. Like Jenkinson, she also finished +14 overall, a top-15 finish.
Other scoring players at the tournament were Cammy Reed (+35, 63rd) and
Lilly Baumann (+43, 71st). The Norse also competed
Gianna White (+36, 65th) as an independent.
Up next for NKU women's golf is the Kansas State Classic, their final meet of the fall season, held this weekend in Manhattan.
