Women’s Golf finishes 12th at Powercat Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's golf wrapped up the fall season on Monday and Tuesday in Manhattan, competing in Kansas State's Powercat Invitational at Colbert Hills Golf Course. Three Norse finished inside the top 50, as 16 NCAA Division I teams competed at the event. 

Ryliann Bednar led the way for NKU with a +27 tournament, finishing tied for 43rd. Her best round came in the second, as she shot a 77 on the 72-par course, which was the best single round by any Norse golfer. 

Eva Maley followed up Bednar with a +28 three-round score, scoring consistently across her three rounds with scores of 81-82-81. Shortly following Maley was Kenna Jenkinson, who finished tied for 49th with a +29 tournament. Jenkinson scored a 79 in the second round, her best at the invitational. 

NKU Women's Golf will pick it back up in the spring, with a 2026 schedule to be announced shortly.
