@NKUNorseGolf women in ninth at Horizon League Championship after day one

WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana – The Northern Kentucky women's golf team currently sits in ninth place as the first round of the Horizon League Championship comes to a close.
 
Team Tidbits
  • NKU posted a team score of 325 on the day, which is only two strokes shy of Purdue Fort Wayne.
 
Individual Highlights
  • Lillian Young paced the Norse with a 79, notching two birdies through her round.  
  • Brooke Bihl closely followed Young posting an 80 for the opening round, using a solo birdie on the par-4, 8th hole to assist the team's score.
  • Hannah Hall and Abby Cook added the final two scores for the team with an 82 and 84, respectively.
