ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Northern Kentucky Baseball team (15-25, 12-19 Horizon League) fell to Oakland (15-24, 9-19 Horizon League) on Sunday afternoon at Oakland Baseball field.

AT THE PLATE 

• Treyvin Moss was the only Norse with multiple hits, going 2-for-4 with an RBI.  
• Billy Marion had the other RBI for NKU, finishing the day 1-for-3.  
• Griffin Doersching (1-for-4) and Jayden Wakeham (1-for-4) also recorded hits.  

ON THE MOUND 

• Nick Noble received the starting nod for the game, going 6.2 innings and allowing five earned runs. He had five hits, five walks, eight strikeouts and tossed 115 pitches.  
• Tyler Ollier threw five pitches in setup relief, yielding one walk.  
• Kaleb Meeks finished out the game for NKU, giving up just a hit.  

KEY MOMENTS 

• Oakland led the game off with a pair of walks and a single through the left-side gap, putting one score on the board.  
• NKU loaded the bases in the fourth after a single by Doersching, a walk by Bacon and a bunt single from Wakeham. Marion advanced Doersching to home with a blooper to right and Moss grounded into fielder's choice, allowing Bacon to score.  
• NKU extended its lead in the seventh after Moss was in scoring position with double down the right-field line. A groundout by Gick and a wild pitch plated Moss. 
• Oakland scored four runs in its half of the seventh to take the lead.
