HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Horizon League office announced Tuesday afternoon that Northern Kentucky's Liam McFadden-Ackman was selected as the Nike #HLBASE Batter of the Week.

The Mason, Ohio native, helped lead the Norse to a 3-1 record this past week, which included a road sweep of Horizon League opponent Youngstown State. Liam started in all four games in the infield for NKU, totaling a batting average of .563 (7-for-16) for the week. He led Northern Kentucky in runs scored with 7, total hits at 9, doubles with 2, and stolen bases with 1.

McFadden-Ackman finished the week with four RBI an on base percentage of .579 and a slugging percentage of .688 to help the Norse move up to third place overall in the conference. 

Northern Kentucky Baseball is in action tonight against Morehead State in a road nonconference matchup at 5 p.m. (ET). The Norse then return home for a three-game series against Horizon League opponent Purdue Fort Wayne beginning Thursday, April 14 at 2 p.m. (ET) from the Bill Aker Baseball Complex.
