HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's basketball program and head coach Camryn Whitaker announced the 2022-23 Horizon League schedule for the Norse on Wednesday, which features 20 games against conference foes.
 
"As we prepare for the upcoming season, we are excited to finally see what the Horizon League schedule holds," said Whitaker. "We will get challenged right off the bat at home against Youngstown state, a very good team coming off a tremendous season.  The Horizon League is always very competitive from top to bottom!  Our team is looking forward to seeing how we stack up and hope to be competing for a championship in March!" 

 

The Norse gets Horizon play underway with three consecutive home games in December. NKU will host Youngstown State on Dec. 2, Robert Morris on Dec. 4, and Wright State on Dec. 28 at Truist Arena. The squad then hits the road to close the month out at IUPUI on Dec. 30.
 
Northern Kentucky will then split the month of January as four matchups will be played inside Truist Arena, while the remaining four will be road contests. NKU starts the month with a pair of home games, hosting Milwaukee on Jan. 5 and Green Bay on Jan. 7. The Norse hit the road next to face Oakland on Jan. 13 and Detroit Mercy on Jan. 15, to then return back home to host Purdue Fort Wayne on Jan. 20 and Cleveland State on Jan. 22. NKU concludes January back on the road against Robert Morris on Jan. 26 and Youngstown State Jan. 28. 

Fans and supporters will only get to see the Norse at home three times during the final month of play in February, with home dates against IUPUI (Feb. 6), Detroit Mercy (Feb. 23) and finally Oakland (Feb. 25). The Norse will see a plethora of away games this month, beginning with rival Wright State Feb. 2. NKU then sees back-to-back weeks of road action against Green Bay on Feb. 10, Milwaukee on Feb. 12, Cleveland State on Feb. 16 and then Purdue Fort Wayne on Feb. 18.
