HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's and women's track & field programs and head coach Steve Kruse released the Norse's 2024 indoor schedule on Friday. The slate features six meets in total, with three of those taking place just down the road in Louisville, Kentucky and another one runs in nearby (and also drivable for Norse Nation) Indianapolis.
 
 
The 2024 campaign gets underway with a tune up in early December as NKU heads to the Commonwealth College Opener at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville on Saturday, December 2.
 
Northern Kentucky then gets a month-long break from competition as the Fall semester ends and finals concluded at the university. The Norse return with another trip to the Norton SLC for the Bellarmine Open on Friday, January 19.
 
It is then a conference showdown for NKU with a trip to the IUPUI Invitational at Fall Creek Pavilion in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday and Saturday, January 26-27. The meet will give the Norse a good look at where they stand in the Horizon with the league's championships just around the corner.
 
It is a busy February for the Norse with three meets on the docket. Northern Kentucky will compete at the Bellarmine Classic, back at the Norton SLC in Louisville on Friday, February 2 and then head to the two-day Marshall Invitational that runs Friday and Saturday, February 9-10 in Huntington, West Virginia. The month concludes with the 2024 Horizon League Indoor Championships, set for Saturday and Sunday, February 24-25 at Youngstown State.
 
All teams are shooting for the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships, hosted by UMass Lowell and Boston College at the Track at new balance at Boston Landing in Brighton, Massachusetts on Friday and Saturday, March 9-10.
