Ky. – Northern Kentucky women's basketball head coach
Camryn Volz and staff announced the signing of one student-athlete to join the Norse women's basketball program next year for the 2024-25 season.
Anna Hamilton from Hebron, Kentucky officially signed for NKU Women's Basketball Wednesday and will look to suit up for the Norse next season.
"Anna brings a level of leadership, toughness and great skill at the point guard position!" said head coach
Camryn Volz.
"Her ability to make everyone around her better is one of the many things that will make her successful at the next level. We are excited she decided to join our family at NKU and keep her at home!"
HAMILTON REPORT
- Hamilton is a 5-foot-7 point guard from Hebron, Ky. where she attends Connor High School.
- She is a two-sport athlete at Connor HS also playing for the school's volleyball team.
- Through three seasons at Connor HS, Hamilton has accumulated an overall record of 52-24 heading into her senior season.
- Has stack up awards on the court for Connor HS including:
- All-District Team 22-Ky Girls selection
- Paul Clifton Free Throw Shooting Award
- 2021-22 GRC MLK Jr. Classic Player of the Game
- 2023 NKHSGBCA Player of the Week
- Two-Time NKY Coaches Association All-Conference selection
- Two-Time NKY First Team All-9th Region selection
- Her most recent AAU Team she suited up for was the KY Fusion out of Hebron and was coached by Jason Litz.
- During her time with KY Fusion Hamilton posted an overall record of 51-16
- Daughter of Jennifer and Jeff Hamilton. Has two siblings, Cayla and Landen.
- Her brother Landen is a freshman on the basketball team at Centre College.
- Anna will look to major in exercise science while attending Northern Kentucky University
