HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky women's basketball standouts Lindsey Duvall, and Kailee Davis each received end-of-season award recognition by the Horizon League office that they announced on Monday. Duvall was named to the conference All-League First Team and Davis earned a spot on the All-League Third Team.
"I'm very proud of Lindsey and Kailee for achieving such great honors," head coach Camryn Whitaker discussed. "We pride ourselves in the process of continuing to improve each year and both Kailee and Lindsey have done that, as have all of our players who may not have been selected for an award!"
Duvall, a graduate-senior from Mt. Washington, Kentucky, anchored NKU in scoring this season, finishing third overall in the conference in points per game at 16.9. Duvall did however lead the Horizon League in total points at 457. Lindsey additionally ranks seventh overall in the league in rebounding, pulling down 7.4 boards per contest. She found herself in multiple top five and top 10 stat categories in the conference including FG made (4th), 3FG made (2nd), total minutes (3rd), and total rebounds (5th). Duvall in just her second year cracked the all-time NKU top 50 in total points and ranks second overall in all-time scoring average.
Davis, a sophomore from Detroit, Mich., provided a stellar year in her second stint with the Norse, averaging 13.4 points per game as the second Northern Kentucky leading scorer. Kailee was lights out from beyond the arc this season, shooting 35 percent overall from three-point range. She ranked fifth overall in the Horizon League this year in assist/turnover ratio at 1.43 and was sixth in the conference in assists with 87 total. Davis also ranked seventh in the Horizon League in three-pointers made per game at 1.81.

Northern Kentucky women's basketball now looks ahead to the Horizon League Championship Tournament beginning next week. The Norse have earned the No. 5 seed this postseason and will be making the trip north to Youngstown, Ohio to take on the No. 4 seeded Penguins of YSU. Tip-off between these Horizon League foes is set for 5:30 PM ET inside the Beeghly Center.
