FULL RESULTS
CINCINNATI – A little bit of snow might have delayed the return of Northern Kentucky track & field by a day, but the Norse made up for it was a standout meet as the women claimed the team victory and the men finished fourth at the 2024 Mount St. Joseph College Invite.

NOTABLES
- It was all black and gold in the women's 400-meter dash. NKU placed the top six student-athletes in the race, led by
Andrea Armstrong (first, 58.09),
Olivia Kennedy (second, 59.25) and
Cameron Bitterman (third, 59.28).
- The Norse showed out in the women's high jump as
Julia Pohl won the event at 1.65-meters (5-5) and Madison Neary took second at 1.57-meters (5-1.75).
- NKU also claimed the top two spots in the women's 200-meter dash with times of 25.28 and 25.94 by
Meredith Goff and Erin Starkes, respectively.
- Erica Durst took the top spot on the podium with a personal record of 2:23.10 in the women's 800-meter.
- Starkes also claimed a win in the women's 60-meter hurdles at 9.03.
- Goff took her second victory of the day with another win in the women's 60-meter dash with a personal best time of 7.62.

Kierra Morris won the women's long jump with a best leap of 5.48-meters (17-11.75).
- Grace Biddle finished second in the women's 3000-meter with a time of 10:48.68. The performance was a personal best in the event.

Kylie Dilley placed third in the women's triple jump with a personal-best mark of 9.48-meters (31-1.25).

Sophia DeLisio clocked in at 5:15.95 in the women's mile, good for a third-place finish overall and a new personal record.
- As a squad, the women took the top prize at the meet with 154 points scored.

Natnael Weldemichael posted a big win in the men's mile with a time of 4:21.28. The Norse placed four student-athletes in the top-five as
Colton O'Hara took second (4:21.74),
Jacob Line claimed fourth (4:21.86) and
Summit Northrup came in fifth.
- Weldemichael also brought home the gold in the men's 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 2:01.08. Line (second, 2:01.27),
Thomas Gray-Torsell (third, 2:01.86), O'Hara (fourth, 2:02.27) and Northrup (2:02.95) made it five Norse in the top-five.
- Jared Humphrey placed second in the men's 400-meter dash with a mark of 53.76, a personal record. Aaron Silva was right behind in third at 54.97, another personal best.
- As a group, the NKU men scored 69 points for fourth overall at the meet. The team did not run a full squad and focused on the distance side with the change in schedule.
NEXT UP
The Norse get right back to it with the IUPUI Invitational that runs Friday, January 26 through Saturday, January 27. Both days of competition get underway at 10 AM.
